The Premier League club Liverpool officially revealed that defenders Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joel Matip has been ruled out for up to three weeks due to injury.

Liverpool's blow for this season has stepped forward with the news that Joel Matip and Trent Alexander-Arnold has sustained injuries in the Premier League defeat to Arsenal.

The Centre-back, Joel Matip has suffered a calf problem with Anfield sources expecting the defender to miss the field for two to three weeks.

It's expected that Konate will now start against Rangers on Wednesday, with Joe Gomez likely to start at right-back in a new-look back four for Jurgen Klopp. Gomez hasn't started since an awful first half display against Napoli in the Champions League a month ago.
