India's fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has recently been ruled out of the 2022 Men's T20 World Cup due to a back problem.
India says the decision was taken "after a detailed assessment and in consultation with experts".
Before Jasprit Bumrah, India's all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja had already been ruled out due to a right knee injury.
Bumrah's replacement will be announced "soon", the Board of Control for Cricket in India said, with Mohammed Shami and Deepak Chahar being the other fast bowlers in their reserve list.
