England comfortably clinched victory in the 2nd T20I match against Australia by eight runs in Canberra. With this win, England have sealed the 3-match series against Australia by 2-0 with the last T20I yet to be played.
Batting first, England's batter produced stunning performance and posted a score of 178 runs by losing seven wickets in the stipulated overs. Dawid Malan (82) and Moeen Ali (44) has contributed respectively which helped England to post this competitive total.
Chasing 179 runs, Australia lost captain and opener Aaron Finch (4) in the 4th over, followed by David Warner (4) in the 5th over. Glenn Maxwell (8) was also dismissed early in the 8th over as English bowlers ripped through the Australian batting.
For England, Sam Curran was the star with 3 wickets, while Ben Stokes, David Willey and Reece Topley managed 1 wicket each.
