Arsenal forward Beth Mead has been honored with the 2021-22 England Women's Player of the Year ahead of Leah Williamson and Keira Walsh.
She was selected by fans as the stand-out player in a historic 12 months for the Lionesses, ahead of Leah Williamson and Keira Walsh in second and third respectively.
Beth also won the Golden Boot and the Player of the Tournament as England made history, winning the European Championships on home soil this summer. Mead scored six goals and made five assists in the tournament.
She has scored 13 goals for her country in 2022 with two hat-tricks in the process. She finished as runner-up to Alexia Putellas for UEFA's Player of the Year and has been nominated for the Ballon D'Or and the BBC Women's Footballer of the Year.
Mead already has three WSL goals in the opening two games of this season.
