BCCI confirmed to appoint Roger Binny as the new president.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has finally confirmed to appoint, India's 1983 men's ODI World Cup member, Roger Binny as the new president by replacing former India captain Sourav Ganguly.

The BCCI will have its Annual General Meeting on 18th October in Mumbai, which is set to mark the end of former India captain Ganguly's tenure as the board's chief.

Jay Shah, son of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, will continue as BCCI secretary for his second consecutive term. Shah is also expected to replace Ganguly as India's representative at the all-powerful ICC Board.

Rajeev Shukla will continue with his role as vice president. While Arun Dhumal will replace Brijesh Patel as the new IPL chairman. 

BJP leader Ashish Shelar will be the new treasurer by replacing Arun Dhumal, which means Ashish Shelar will not become the Mumbai Cricket Association president.
