Mickey Arthur has been named to lead Pakistan at this year's ICC Men's World Cup.

Former Pakistan head coach and Derbyshire head of cricket, Mickey Arthur has been officially named to lead Pakistan men's cricket team at this year's ICC Men's World Cup.

Precviously, Mickey Arthur has spurned an offer from the PCB to return as the head coach of the national team, forcing the board to continue its search to find a replacement for incumbent Saqlain Mushtaq.

Later, Arthur was appointed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as the Consultant Team Director with Grant Bradburn becoming head coach.

Two coaches are already working with the national team: Cliffe Deacon (physio) and Drikus Saaimon (strength and conditioning coach).

Former South African pacer Morne Morkel will be the bowling coach and Andrew Puttick is the batting coach.

Arthur was brought in as head coach in 2016 when Sethi was in the board and worked until 2019 when his contract was not extended by the management headed by Ehsan Mani.
