Lincoln Player Duffy Penalized for Betting on Matches.

Lincoln City player Dylan Duffy has been fined by the Football Association for admitting to multiple violations of anti-betting rules.

The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international, Dylan Duffy, has been fined £4,000, with half of that amount suspended for a year. He admitted to the charges early on and cooperated fully during the investigation.

Initially charged in July, Duffy was accused of "placing, instructing, permitting, causing, or enabling" bets on 30 matches from August 2023 to April 2024.

The fine is connected to a few bets placed by his brother Daniel in Ireland on a Paddy Power account registered in Dylan's name.

Duffy stated he was unaware of the bets his brother made but acknowledged having a separate account in Daniel's name with Boylesports.
