Leicester City approaches to sign Graham Potter just one day after Chelsea sack him.

Less than 24 hours after being sacked by Chelsea, Graham Potter received an approach to manage Premier League strugglers Leicester City but he turned down the proposal.

Graham Potter is 'set to take a break' after losing his job at Stamford Bridge on Sunday night.

Leicester is currently second bottom in the Premier League with 10 fixtures left as they look to avoid relegation to the Championship.

Graham Potter spent less than seven months at Chelsea after he was brought in by Todd Boehly in September as the successor to Thomas Tuchel.

But it could not have gone much worse for the former Brighton boss, with Chelsea winning just three of 13 top-flight games in 2023 and the side 11th in the table.

Meanwhile, Alan Shearer has slammed Chelsea co-owner Boehly as he spoke about Potter's sacking on Match of the Day 2.
