Chelsea F.C. depart ways with their manager Graham Potter after less than seven months in charge.

Premier League Club, Chelsea has finally took the step and depart ways with their manager Graham Potter, who was appointed just seven months ago.

Graham Potter's departure follows Chelsea's 2-0 loss at home to Aston Villa on Saturday, which saw them slip into the bottom half of the Premier League table. This was Potter's 11th defeat in 31 games since replacing Thomas Tuchel in September.

Bruno Saltor will take charge as interim head coach, with Chelsea set to host Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night before travelling to Wolves next weekend.

Chelsea have won just seven of its 22 Premier League games under Potter and with 10 games remaining and are 12 points off the top four, meaning the team is unlikely to qualify for next season's Champions League.

Chelsea lost to Manchester City in both domestic cup competitions but has reached the quarterfinals of the Champions League, where it was drawn against titleholder Real Madrid with the first leg on April 12.
