F.C. Bayern Munich has finally departed ways with their manager, Julian Nagelsmann with immediate effect and has appointed the former Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel as their new manager.
Thomas Tuchel has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract at Bayern and will take charge of training on Monday ahead of Munich's meeting with Dortmund the following Saturday. It's his first job since he was sacked by Chelsea earlier this season and replaced at Stamford Bridge by Graham Potter.
The German formerly coached Borussia to the 2017 German Cup before stints at Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, which saw him reject a reported advance from Bayern.
Tottenham Hot Spur were keen on Tuchel in their bid to replace Antonio Conte but have been forced to look elsewhere.
